How you can help our rescue efforts

These are a few of our most recent fund raising programs. We are always looking for ways to help our horses and to rescue more. That also means we are always grateful for any donations made to our 501c3 non-profit charity.

More on horse slaughter

The vast majority of horses who become victims of this industry could be sold, donated or otherwise rehomed. But once a horse goes to auction, "kill buyers" outbid legitimate horse owners and rescues, robbing horses of ever having a second chance at life.

Other ways you can help rescue efforts

All it takes is a little willingness. Below we've added a few of the many ways you can help not only our rescue, but to help improve the situation so many, many horse face. Be sure to watch the video above and read more below. These gentle creatures need our help.

Educate

Attention Students and Teachers! Horses have played a major role in our history. Art, history, science, sports, literature, and other areas of study are all suitable for projects or education regarding horses in our lives, past and present. Educational efforts regarding horse slaughter and wild horse protections help get the word out about current crises in the equine world. Be creative and use horses as part of your next in-class project!
