Twilight

May 31, 2017 · Twilight was a six year old beautiful Paint gelding, pictured with his number on his hind end. This dreaded number meant he was on his way to slaughter. He went through the sale and was purchased for human consumption . We saw Penny Parker at the close of the sale almost to tears asking for help. So I took out the credit card and our journey begun.

After his quarantine at Penny's farm he came to Halos Haven farm . Twilight was unbroken and needed a trainer that could train a six year old Kevin Raber from Ohio came and started the venture.  Thanks to Kevin's training, Twilight went from being an unbroken horse bound for slaughter and became a calm, responsive mover under Western and English saddle, bomb proof on the trails and a rockstar in the ring. It took about 2 years from the day we rescued Twilight until the time we placed him in his forever home. It's a long expensive road to rescue. He looks amazing .
